Well! I went to the plot.....dug half a row....froze to death in the north wind....came home....weeded the front garden bed instead...(south facing)! Then I put in all the bulbs that I should have planted months ago and which are sprouting in the packets....along with two new paeony plants. Now to walk the dogs! They'll need their coats today, as will I!

We love paeonys..ours are just starting to shoot through the soil. I don't know if you've ever dropped by my gardening blog..if not please pop in some time.
It seems strange to me to hear you complaining about cold North winds; over here they are our hot winds!!
