Not much gardening going on at the moment as I am run ragged getting ready to go away for the weekend, and leave the place decent for the dog-sitters. I did pick off all the strawberries today, and visited the plot to hoe everywhere. The tunnel has also had a good watering.
The rest will have to wait until next week!

Where did you find your dog-sitters? I always thought that would be a great thing to do for a living!
Just thought I'd let you know that as a result of your picture, I decided to visit Wisley today on the spur of the moment. To my sheer delight, I found out on entering that the new bicentennial glasshouse was opening today! I was one of the first to visit! Thank you!

Matron. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful niece who loves to come and stay and look after our dogs. Also some retired friends who also love an opportunity to stay on the island for a spell. Both love the dogs and spoil them.....much much better than putting them into kennels.
And I'm so pleased you went for the first day of the new greenhouse. I knew it was imminent but it'll have to wait until the end of July for me to visit now.
