Photo a day ...17th May.We passed under this tree along the road today. The sun seemed to shine through the leaves, and the pink bracts looked wonderful.

I don't know the name of the tree. I am very grateful to the person who planted it all those years ago (possibly 20 - 30 as that's how old the estate is.)

It looks beautiful; it reminds me of the Acer negundo Flamingo we had for many years until it outgrew us.
