At Robin Hill Country Park in the middle of the island they often have special themed days. When we visited they had a sort of Steam Fair and I loved this one......!
Hello. I found your blog whilst browsing around and was amazed by the similarities between our interests - I also blog about allotment gardening and patchwork and quilting. I've added you to my links list. I'd appreciate it if you'd link back to me, but of course that's entirely up to you. It's at www.bean-sprouts.blogspot.com
We have a massive steam rally most years in the back field, it is huge and has been running for over 21 years, they have massive tractor pullers, steam engines, fun fair, shire horses, helicopter rides etc. etc. and being local's we help on the gate then get in for free!!!
I love vegetable gardening. This new blog will track my attempts to make my whole garden productive; both the kitchen garden and the ornamental areas front and back.

I'd like a steam traction engine too. Or, even better, a steam plough.
But the Other Half has warned me not to "do a Dibnah" on her. Sigh.
And I'm glad to see Mel has found you. Hi Mel!
